Captain Marianne Derbyshire Alvarez (USCG Master, 100 GRT Near Coastal) and her husband, Tom Koncius, carry a deep reverence for the Atlantic. After being married aboard their 50 ft Cruising Catamaran in the British Virgin Islands, they returned to the South Shore to share their passion for the classic yachting lifestyle.
Together, Marianne and Tom bring decades of boating experience, a passion for hospitality, and a love of coastal New England to every charter. Their vessel, Into the Mystic, is a masterfully maintained Alden 49 that embodies the craftsmanship and heritage of classic American yachting.

We said "I do" barefoot on the trampoline of the bow of She's The Captain — our 50 ft Cruising Catamaran in the British Virgin Islands — Caribbean water below, trade winds in the rigging, no aisle but the trampoline beneath our feet. That afternoon shaped how we host every charter: unhurried, personal, and quietly extraordinary.
